Conscious Style // Palm Springs

Hi loves!
I hope you had a great week! It's the weekend!!
Slight delay on this post.. My 30th birthday was a couple weeks ago, and Blake (my husband) rented my dream house in Palm Springs with a bunch of my best friends! It was so wonderful. Being around such amazing people made me feel like turning 30 wasn't so bad after all!
We ate a lot of food, layed out by the pool, danced a lot (to the Yoga song by Janelle Monae) - basically everything I want to do every day but never actually do. :)
I spent some time alone in the mornings, just thinking about my 20s and what I had accomplished, and what I would do differently if I could go back. All in all, I felt happy that I followed my dreams wherever they took me whether it was working for a non-profit in California with some of my best friends, moving to Spain and then traveling Europe, or studying fashion at Parsons in NYC - I didn't hold back. Not to mention getting married to the love of my life last year, that was pretty awesome. :) All of the "big" decisions I felt really good about, and the things I would change had to do more with some of the day to day living. I think the biggest one was wishing I had taken more time for myself, to rest and contemplate. So that's what I decided I would work on in my 30s! Not just pursuing big dreams, but being intentional about the way I spend my time, and not feeling bad about taking time for myself - to recharge, seek God, and be more self-aware. I 'm looking forward to this year so much, I can't wait to see what's in store!
PS Don't look too closely at this picture... slight malfunction in dress coverage, but I guess a little underboob never hurt anybody.
PPS There are bunch of amazing summer clothes I curated for you on the SHOP page, and a ton are hugely on SALE right now so go there!
PPPS Have you guys ever used Bloglovin? It's a way to organize all the blogs you like to follow into one place - there's a website and an app. I just discovered it, and I have no idea how I went for so long without it! You can follow BienFaire here! Follow my blog with Bloglovin
